I love finding accommodation that is unusual and quirky, but ideally full of history and character, and what could be more historical and characterful than a castle. Incredibly there are around 30,000 castles in Ireland and Northern Ireland combined, but this post focuses on the ones that you can actually stay as part of your perfect trip.
